When we first met, I was a fourteen year old girl who thought she knew everything there was to know about the world. I was a cynical person, one who spent so much time and energy focusing on all of the bad things that surrounded me instead of focusing on all of the good. You were a sixteen year old boy who sometimes had an attitude problem and was full of snarky, sarcastic remarks that made my eyes roll. Through those years we grew together and we grew apart. We watched each other make life changing decisions and stumble our way through out teenage years. I watched you transform into a man and you watched me grow into a woman. I look at you now and I remember all of the things we've both been through alone and the things we've been through together and I am so thankful to have you.

If someone would have told me back then where we would be now, I would have called them a liar but I am so glad that you are mine. Happy two weeks of marriage my sun and stars. Here is to many, many more.
